Movie Roundup- January through now

Feb 10, 2009 23:05

A lot of this content is seriously overdue, I've been meaning to post about some of this for over a month now. So this is kind of a massive post of varying degrees and forms of film geekness. Which I have been drafting over two days. ...Yeah.

For the first time:

Australia, Moonstruck, 5 cm per Second, Slumdog Millionaire, Frost/Nixon )

movies, bourne, tl;dr, michael clayton, should i just make a gilroy tag?

1) YESSSSSSSSSSSSS

2) It is Robert Pattinson day at sf_drama! Basically a lot of spamming with his face photoshopped on different things. It's a way to make fun of people who take the community too seriously, essentially, and I got this icon for writing a note about how much I loved his hexagon-shaped head.

1) Gaiman and McKean are just a dream team. ...Also, best last line ever.

2) ...I...don't know whether to laugh or cry.

I have nothing important or useful to say, but have this all too relevant character journal, as it's from the only movie on that list I've seen. :Db

You realize that there are not enough words to express how awesome you are for having that character? (And he's right, he's totally the most hated.)

And you should see more of the movies! *is shot*

I've seen most of these movies! But I cannot put my thoughts about movies into words very well. I didn't notice anything about the film of Slumdog Millionaire, so maybe that was just at the theater you were watching it at, or maybe I'm just unobservant.

The International looks like a rejected James Bond plot, starring the guy everyone thought should be the new James Bond before they cast Daniel Craig.

I blame my father for my tl;drness when it comes to movies.
...Actually, hey, he taught me to read, so I can blame him for the books too.

There has been a problem or two at that theatre in the past, so I wouldn't be too surprised if it was them.

Haha, that is exactly what it looks like.
