Braindead in odd ways

Oct 27, 2008 01:00

Aaand at this point I'm still somewhat wired (I'm going to crash tomorrow, I know it), and have seemingly run out of my ability to actually focus on anythingI spent about 5 hours today in charge of the boom on the shoots for "Kollege," the Film & Video sitcom (My arms will be sore in strange places tomorrow, I know it). This was my second weekend ( Read more... )

Aheheh, this is my desperate attempt to have a life, since I had none last year. I am so relieved it seems to be working and I do not really need to seek further involvement.

And I am so sorry for dropping the thread with Kyon, I was having so much fun but I fail because I cannot think of how to respond to your last comment. ;_;

That is perfectly fine! I'll be ready if you do come up with a response, and if you don't we can just leave it there!

Yeah. I used to help shoot student films in high school, plus I was part of a company that was trying to make movies, so I know how it goes. XD It's a lot of fun!

Weeell... I'm tired right now, so I'm not all that coherent, but I really liked it! XD Bourne is freaking badass and Marie is a total cutie (and also kind of a badass in her own way) and I can't wait to see the next movie. We'll probably watch it tomorrow night. ^^ I think I'll have more comments to make after we've watched all three.

Oh, how cool! I admit, I'm kinda hoping this will also lead into me being involved in some of the actual student movies. What was this company?

YAAAAAY! I am so happy to introduce people to things I like and find they like them too!
(Seriously, one of the reasons I love this franchise so much is that all the women are fairly badass, if in subtle ways)
I LOOK FORWARD GREATLY TO YOUR COMMENTS!
Also, please be warned that Supremacy is kinda heartbreaking at times. (Actually, I find parts of Ultimatum to be the same way, but not as many, really.)

Seconding the 'you have an exciting life' stuff. That sounds like an awesome thing you're involved in ( ... )

Thank you! From what little I know and have seen, I think it's being quite well shot, I'm really looking forward to looking at the results. (And being able to go "lol I was holding a mike above his head right then." :P)

And no, we were all stumped by that one, and ended up changing the subject.

I AM SO VERY GLAD YOU HAVE WATCHED IT AND ENJOYED IT. Haha, the farmhouse part was definitely what made the most impact on me the first time I saw it. (And yeah, I'm pretty sure that was a safe-house that Nicci ran logistics stuff out of.)

Dude, the car chases actually get even more amazing. It's kind of insane what they can pull with that. And I love Damon's Bourne so, but we already knew that. :P
Marie just gets some of the best lines. I mean-
Bourne: It gets slightly complicated, though.
Marie: Because you're dead.
Bourne: ...Right.
looooove.
And yes, the sequels definitely get heartwrenching, but the characters are so well handled and the plots are awesome, and, well... The second two movies have what I consider to be a huge argument ( ... )

Where does this go up, anyway? I don't think I've ever heard of it, but now I'm curious!

Sometimes that's the best recourse when presented with questions like that. [nods sagely]

I'M ALL EXCITED FOR THE OTHER TWO!! Things kind of went a little crazy yesterday so we didn't have the chance to watch the next one. ;_; But we'll still watch them both by the end of the week, I'm pretty sure. Guess I probably don't have any more Mini or MINI car chases to look forward to though, huh? :(

RL is always > RP. <3 I'm actually talking to Cori now; Edgeworth's next response might involve him, would you mind if he hops back in again (if it's okay with Cori, of course!)?

That's the great thing about Plurk, it takes NO time. XD You can just post a sentence in an instant. I've been using it to let people know what I'm doing when I should be tagging. It's kind of addictive but it can also be really easy to just post random stuff to.

I'm in good company, then! ♥

Haha, it's aired on the little college t.v. station that no one watches. It'll go up on youtube eventually, though.

Such truth. [nods agreement]

I AM GLAD YOU ARE EXCITED, AND THEY SHOULD LIVE UP TO THE EXCITEMENT! There's no huge rush. (I just want you guys to post what you think when you've seen them all. >.>) Well, yeah, no more of those. But a taxi. And this awesome bit with a motorbike [hence icon]. And I believe I mentioned he steals a cop car at one point?

Ffff too much Chinese this week. And Russian.
And of course Cori's welcome!

But I seriously cannot afford more addictions! >.<

As am I~! ♥

P.S. I know html. Usually.

That does sound like a lot of fun!

As for that reminder... exactly how many characters do you have at DDD on last count? And last I checked you played Bourne and Marie too. :3

Aaaand, seconding Tif on getting plurk. :3

I'm really glad I signed up for it!

10. And yes, at the moment I do. And yet, my mind is finding ways around this. (It's really not helping that I'm considering a plot for Bourne that would end up having me npc Pam anyway. >.<)

I don't have the tiiime. D:

It sure sounds like it~ :)

Aha. Just try to keep in mind that you need to balance life with the characters you have, dear. We don't want you getting burned out because you're biting off more than you can chew. It's no fun and it kills muses.

I knoooow. Perhaps the real problem is that this muse keeps bothering me, proving she doesn't want to die, while I have at least 2 muses who are semi-dead already and I'm kind of holding onto for the sake of canonmates and in case they revive. >.<

Indeed! I have mixed feeling on this. IMDB tells me that both Damon and Greengrass are on it, and since I know they had originally meant to let the franchise lie after Ultimatum, I'm hoping this means they've got some good stuff to work with. However, it seems that Tony Gilroy is not on the script (though another guy who worked on Ultimatum is), and that worries me a bit. I like Gilroy a lot. (Of course, he might just be working on his own stuff. Michael Clayton turned out very well, after all.) I'm also just nervous because I think that if you've done a film trilogy well you really ought to quit while you're ahead *cough*stupidGeorgeLucas*cough*.
But my feelings tend towards hopeful. In any case, it seems the question shall be answered in 2010.

...Aheh, I shouldn't have gone on that long. >.<
