Hey, I care.

I read the book after watching the first movie (it took me forever to finish, too), and really enjoyed it. But it was easy to look at the book and the movie as two separate stories with similar beginnings.

Unfortunately, I read the book long enough ago that I don't remember it very well. D: But I do think all of your insights are very interesting.

Oh, yeah, I do view them as completely different animals. But it's interesting to see what is kept and what isn't. And I'm just a little interested in Bourne.

I did definitely like the book, mind you. Buuut I like the movies more. Of course, I am an EXTREMELY BIASED REPORTER.

I have yet to see the Bourne trilogy, but I'll admit that I was doing essentially the same thing between Masamune's original GitS manga, the original 1995 film, and S.A.C. which proved to be highly interesting. Especially concerning the characters.

Though your comparisons were interesting to read~

Oh, I was constantly comparing the characters as they are in the GitS movie with how they are in S.A.C.. In fact, karakael and I left anime club after it mainly in order to talk about that.
But I'd need some more rewatches before I could really write about it. Over 500 pages of book, now, gives you a lot of time to develop your thoughts and arguments. :P

Hee, I'd imagine. But oh my god, I just finished the manga last night after reading it on and off. You need to put that on your reading list, when you've got time because it is awesome. Though there is a high possibility that you'll have to order it through a bookstore since it is really hard to find given a few of the nsfw pictures.... likethelesbianthreewayinchapterthree

Oh, it's on my list, I'm definitely buying it winter break. I know a shop where I can get it. More of GitS is always do want, and it is the original. YeahIheardaboutthat.
