Ah, but that's not what he did. He practiced trickle-down economics (resulting in the rather poorer poor mentioned above), while the market fixed itself cause it was smarter than to have anything to do with the policy first used by Hoover.
Now Clinton actually let the market be itself entirely.

I admit that the military spending was completely justified, it is why the U.S.S.R. fell. The thing that I hate is the tax cuts. I mean, WTF. Tax cuts to the rich don't help.

I also admit Clinton was a failure at foriegn policy, save maybe in Europe. He failed to take action on a lot of important things when they happened. They only thing he was really good at doing on the international stage was apologizing, and God knows he needed that skill.

I remember that bombing. I remember expressing to my fourth grade class what an apalling move that was.

Clinton was, however, fiscally responsible, which is a big issue with me, especially since it seems to be an increasingly rare trait.

Of course, as a person, he's a slimeball.

However, I find myself often wondering why adultery is an impeachable offense when unconstitutional wiretapping appearently isn't.

The only two things I feel like saying regarding the primaries is:

1) I'm looking forward to these being over so people can stfu with some of the casual and blatant racism and misogyny.

2) Huckabee sucks. So so much.

It's alright. The post itself is mostly knee-jerk, I haven't got my normal political venting channels anymore. To be perfectly honest, out of all the people still running in all the fields I don't really know which I'd want as president. It'd be best if I just stay out of the whole thing until the nominees are chosen and I can form much more coherent opinions. But I can't get other news without primary coverage. It's driving me kind of nuts. -.-

The only candidate I really liked was Richardson, so at this point...I'm doing my best not to care. Though for the record, I find Hilary creepy.

It's not a stupid question. I was going to come tell you myself as soon as I got more than 15 minutes online at a time. This week has been busy.
Yeah, I did. I just couldn't keep him up and didn't think it was fair to him. I actually would have dropped him sooner if it weren't for you, but you've basically been playing without a Bertie anyway...
