Well, it had been a while so here are two new reviews for Harry Potter fanfics. They're both novel-length, but otherwise quite different.

The Shadow of His Wings

IMHO, this is one of the great classics of HP fan fiction. Mirabella is such a gifted writer - I so hope she has not abandoned her fantastic tale!

Her website says "as of October 2007, I haven't stopped writing" or something to that effect, which doesn't sound very encouraging.
Unless she has another website somewhere? If you find anything, I would very much like to hear about it.

Well, according to her LJ "Mirabella's fic", as per September 2010 she was still writing, although in another fandom. Let's hope nothing bad has happened to her and she'll update SohW one of these days.

She has a DW account and last posted in April 2013. I'm going through her past entries, but so far I haven't found anything about SoHW. I don't think it'll ever get finished. :( But it's good to know that she's still around. :)
