What I like to think...

Jan 15, 2002 22:08

Tonight, when my mom came upstairs to scold me for my poor report card grades, messy room, filthy car, lack of job, and seeming lack of ability to take care of myself, inside me bubbled the most powerful, silent rage I have ever known. No tears. No screaming fits. Nothing to suggest anger, or anything but nonchalance and casual disinterest.

writing, mommy

because....

you've written something with a beginning, a middle an end, AND a purpose. And I like it.
