Lovely, awesome, dramatic beginning! I just love this AU so much and I love that Arthur is such an ass at the beginning because I really enjoy reading character's journeys, especially Arthur's.

And Gwen rules!

Ah, I love it! This is such a great fic and I can't wait to read more. The little moments you added are wonderful and definitely add to the suspense of the story! I love that you have created the wonderful AU world, but kept the core of the characters so well intact. Even if Arthur is a clot pole at the beginning of this story, you can see the goodness in him, and I love that Guinevere is the one to bring it out of him and make him grow up and become the king he should can be.

Oh, what a lovely review! I'm glad the added parts work well. When I originally posted this I was so trying to get in by the deadline that I was rushing it some. Now I can develop certain parts a little more.

Good. Going AU is always a bit risky because you want to make sure the characters still have the same soul basically. I'm glad that they don't feel alien.

I kid you not. When I saw your two banners I was so inspired. They really are so beautiful. I've always loved artwork that blends seamlessly and yours does that, but it also is very vivid, colorful, and the font is just gorgeous and perfectly placed. I knew I wanted to go AU with this story and especially when I looked at that picture of Arthur, how he looks young there, I thought, arranged marriage and that's why they're that age and everything, because of the artwork. It just all came together and so I hope that we get to do that kind of challenge at AG fics again because art is just so inspiring.

I'm so glad you're sharing this story now with us. Though a lot o people hated this version of Arthur on the show, I fell in love with this version. I love that he's a prat. But I also love seeing that side of him that cares for others. Even if it comes out when he's not noticing. He thinks what he did was done out of duty, but the way he aske if she was alright when Percival manhandled him proves that isn't the case. Can't wait for the next chapter!

Yes! I'm sometimes bored by the 'good' guy. I like Arthur's edge and I like that he still has some of it now. One thing that got me into the show was that Arthur was such a prat. I love seeing characters grow and it's been exciting to me to see him grow into the legendary king he's meant to be. I like seeing the faults along the way.

Ah, you noticed a key area for me when I was writing, what he asked Percival. You are very astute!

This is a great start. I live your style of writing so I know this story will be great. Glad Merlin and her are friends and how she isn't falling all over jerky Arthur. Please update soon.

Hee, yeah Arthur's being a brat right now. And almost whenever I put Gwen and Merlin in a story they always seem to kind of levitate to each other, lol.

Ha, I'm working on the update now. Had to get something else done first, but the update should be posted within a few days or so. It's fun getting to add parts now.
