ahh so I finally asked for a transfer to another store a couple weeks ago, for a whole buncha reasons, mainly that I am tired of working in Burnaby and buying a two zone bus pass. Anyway, the transfer got approved and stuff, so I now work at Choices in Kits! Apparently it's a lot busier at that one and I get to work with like 4 people at a time in ( Read more... )

It's generally better to work closer to home anyhow. And you can get your friends from Burnaby to visit you. So win!

OMG biking to work everyday would SO rule for you! It's a little over 5 km in one direction. Fantastic!!! :D

Oh that sucks about your finger...Julie had a similar injury when working in the deli. She slammed one of those glass deli case doors on her thumb or something.

Yeah that's exactly how I fucked up my finger. Yay clumsiness. :P

SWEET that means I'd be biking like 10 km a day. I'm going to get in shape or something.

Apparently it's all nice and flat along 14th. I don't want to be TOO sweaty for shifts. :P

woo! I'm totally going to have to come by and visit some time. do you have regular shifts? I know you're going to get lots, that place is SO short-staffed.
lame about the sprain. I didn't sprain my finger, just slammed it really hard. the only sucky part was that it was on one side of my finger, so when the nail fell off, it was still attached on one side.
