I hate writing cliff hangers! lol

They make it a little harder to start new chapters, but it gets people reading so I'm happy. I'm glad you like the fic!

Love it despite the cliff hanger. Ed and Al in the scene with Mustang was very funny. But it is true--thin walls plus Ed and Al do not make a good combination. Perhaps the military apartments were made that way on purpose... Another military scandal!

I knew Al wasn't dead (then it wouldn't be much of a story was it and people would give up reading it), and I'm happy that Ed found him.

What Al told Ed was true though, they are risking their lives. Bu they did the same thing with the human transmutation and when Ed became a State Alchemist. Then, if anything, was more dangerous because of Al's state as just a soul. Plus, these "taboos" have never stopped them!

Loved this chapter, can't wait for the next!

I really liked the Mustang scene too, I thought he should make an appearance somewhere in the fic. He has such great timing too! LOL
And the thin walls had to go, which is why Ed got an apartment, then they could make all the noise they want. I couldn't really let Alphonse be dead, He's my favorite character!

The scene where Al expresses his thoughts about their relationship is very important, so I'm glad you liked it. And your right about the human transmutation thing, but you'll see why Al considers this a different situation in upcoming chapters.

Now I can't wait to see why Al thinks this is different. I guess it is, because before, they didn't have anything to lose. They'd already lost so much with the Gate and Equivalent Exchange. But now that everything has been righted, they suddently have everything to lose.

I can understand Al's hesistation, but I still want to see his reasoning!
