Wow, this is brilliant! The flashbacks are really poignant and they work so well. All the characterisation is sound too!

You've also handled the AU transmutation well. I was more than a little lost trying to work out the ins and outs of it for my own fic.

Oh: I love Riza as the superior. It actually made me want to toy with her becoming fuhrer at some point, although I can think of many a Roy fan who would mail Winry and her wrench to my doorstep. XDXD

Keep writing! I can't wait to see where this goes...

Thank you! I like the flashbacks as well, they add a good feeling to the otherwise dark story. I'm glad you like Riza as Ed's superior, alot of people do. Honestly I didn't think many people would like that! I'll try to have the next chapter out soon!

I was going to comment it earlier xD just got some trobles with the connection (better said that my not so lovely nii-san truns it off early and that I have to go to a study group in the afternoons I'll be on holidays next wek tough ^^)

well when Al *dies* it's like having ed *die* too he completely goes to agnst and make his own hole next to Al's

But that's the hook to angst an ilove angst xD

Your right about Ed, it does seem as though a small part of him dies after Al does doesn't it? That's why I love angst too.

THAT IS SOME AMAZING WRITING

I loves the ending ^^ I like how you used another character to tell about the past instead of just Ed remembering. Really original, I love it.
