It's [insert appropriate day of the week here], so Aya-chan has brought food and cleaning supplies for Nagi's apartment. She knocks. When there is no answer, she lets herself in with a key.
The scream she makes when she sees the foot tall puddle of blood oozing toward her would put any horror movie heroine to shame. She drops the food and supplies.
Her first thought is to get far away, but her second thought (that Nagi is going to be pissed when finds out his stuff is ruined) makes her go into the blood drenched apartment.
She slides through the remaining puddle of blood and grabs what looks like the most expensive laptop and easily portable techno toys. She has to scrunch her eyes almost closed because the blood falling in them stings.
She slips on the blood in her haste to leave. Her head collides with the edge of the coffee table and the computer and toys go flying across the room.
The cheerfulness in Aya's tone increases in direct proportion to her level of nervousness.
"Yes, that's right. But Rai is seeing about get that shut off right now," she chirps. "I'm sure everything will be..." She bites the inside of her cheek. "So when do you think you could come by?"
She is quiet for a moment. She feels touched that he would ask after her when his stuff is being ruined.
"I'm at Ren and Rai's place."
Now she feels even worse about dropping his stuff. Aya goes wide-eyed as she thinks she shouldn't have thought that while talking to a telepath. She forces herself to calm down. Nagi can't read her mind over the phone.
Uhhuh, sure they will. If she collapses, Ren will freak. Fair warning.
Also, if he seems a bit dull or slow right now, hopefully it's understandable. "I would, yeah. A lot. But Rai said it's in the water, and it was coming from the sprinklers, so I guess it is. Means there's nothing to get clean with."
Ren is fine with being leaned on, although the smell of the blood is starting to really make him nauseous. "We should find Rai first, make sure he knows we're leaving, at least..."
And beg ask if he wants to come along. Not that Ren will say that bit.
She can't leave until Nagi arrives, no matter how much she would rather be gone before she got there. But just going far enough to look for Rai shouldn't be a problem.
"He said he was going to shut off the water. Where is the water valve?"
She starts to slip down Ren, so she clutches tightly at his shirt.
...Right, to the couch it is. It's not a very good couch. In fact, it looks kind of like the sort of couch one might find on a street corner and claim as salvage. So, a few blood stains won't hurt it.
Besides, then it can match the other set of fairly recent blood stains in the middle of the carpet.
"He said he'd be right back. The water shut off is downstairs. He'll probably warn Mr. Elric while he's down there, too."

"Nagi's on his way."
She squirms. The drying blood itches.

Best way to keep from freaking out about being covered in blood is to worry about someone else.

"You got all messy going to get me. Do you want to go clean up?"

"Of course. You can clean up at my place if you like."
Aya is feeling a little woozy. She doesn't want to lean on a wall and get wall bloody. Rai is already bloody. Maybe she can lean on him a bit.

"I'm going to close my eyes for a minute would you tell me when Rai or Nagi get here?"
If Ren is likely to notice such things, her pupils are uneven.

And there's Ren and Rai's door. Knock, knock!
