So hubby went into work yesterday morning, and they were apparently escorting people out of the building without even letting them get their personal effects in many cases. They'd sent out a note a while back saying layoffs were something they were considering, but it was rather shocking to find out that the considering was done. As probably one

Hubby knows the drill right? Take home the personal effects now. Take home/save any good reference material and start applying for other jobs NOW. Never ever believe people who are trying to retain just enough employees to keep the systems running.

Well, damn! I'm glad it seems to be ok, and I hope it stays that way. Layoffs are very scary, especially when you walk right into the middle with no warning!
