OMG, floweringjudas managed to combine two of my favorite fanfic elements. The result is not at all like combining chocolate and cheese, but rather, awesome in a totally beyond-additive way. I totally fail to meet the requirements of the community, namely, that you have to have written 2 H/D-centric stories. :)

I'm working on fixing that -- I'm signed up for hd_hols, though I am having a hard time figuring out my Harry... It's not really by accident that Harry makes cameos in my fic if he shows up at all, and that's because I don't think I can write him at all. I love reading H/D, but I am totally awful at writing the pairing!

well, i just had to mention it!

i tend to write from harry's pov. he's very familiar to me. but see, if i had to write percy, i'd be completely stumped. i would have no idea what to say!

I have so much admiration for people who can write Harry!

Sadly, I think Draco is probably much more familiar ground in terms of my personality... that might be what it takes to overcome my block!

You know, it really is a good time to be a Percy fan. I'd never liked or appreciated him much at all, but in the last few months I've read some really amazing Percy!fic, and I have to say he's growing on me!

Indeed! I think part of what makes Percyfic so interesting is that there's so much left open by canon, at least for now, so writers have a huge amount of flexibility! I'm hoping DH doesn't rain on our parade. :)
