Things that make me go squee today:
1. Buying Cath Kidston raincoat. I love flowers and now can be covered in them when it rains. Which happens a lot in N.Ireland.
2. Eating chocolate Kendall Mint Cake. Sucking the chocolate off it and letting the sugary mint dissolve in mouth. Rated NC17.
3. Watching Doctor Who.(
Teeny tiny spoiler cut, but nothing plotty )

I don't think Lilah will give in to young Wesley's requests. It freaks her out far too much. LOL
Thank you for the wonderful screencaps which prompted this - and for the icon. *g*

Her Wesley was a book, a story of a life lived in blood and bruises, and Lilah liked to read in Braille.
That's gorgeous writing, and I like the way she thinks that as if Wesley is hers, or at least an incarnation of him belongs to her, the version he saves only for her when they're alone. Not to mention too the fact that she knows secrets about him; or she can read his body, but possibly not his mind.
“A heart whose love is innocent,” he finished, and looked up at her from under ridiculously long lashes.
If...if... only. :)
Wonderful stuff and a terrific Lilah voice. That well and truly made my weekend :)

Oh, I spend a lot of time imagining what Lilah thinks of Wesley's background - I can see her spending a lot of time in Files and Records, reading up on a younger Wesley.
The Shelley was just such fun to play with - Wesley getting completely the wrong idea about the sort of woman she is, and her almost but not quite wishing it was so.
Thanks again for the lovely feedback!
