Okay, I gotta say that it was pretty weird hearing Ratchet addressed as "she". But that is the whole point of the fic, isnt it. *facepalms*

Poor Ratchet, hopefully if they shift though that rubble they can find some of it, or the buiilding owner DID keep some of it. Maybe the owner decided to keep it for themselves and now that they know it was a femme's they try to give it back? I donno. Poor thing.

I'm thinking the demolition crew did a final sweep and probably put stuff they found in storage. The building owner just didn't care.
