State Testing...

I have to be in Kingsport at 8:30 to take 2 tests for state jobs... Honestly these tests look pretty stupid and I dont understand why someone with a master's degree has to do this... here's the test descriptions

I think their, at least in WV, requirements are just silly to be honest. Two really simliar jobs, only one will require a written test. And a few that I personally think would/should require some form of pre-employment testing don't. And I can't even find the info about the written test for the WV stuff. All I find is that I'm suppose to show up between this time & that time with ID, blah blah blah.

i had to wait 2 months after turning in my application to get a testing date :(

And the test sucked... took over 2 hours, and the vocabulary words were fucked ... like Verity and Collude

Are you kidding? What state are we talking here? In WV, as far as I know, you can't even turn your application in until you test. You turn it in at the testing location & they send the whole packet in for you. I'm just applying for a spot as a psychological assistant, which doesn't require testing (which I kinda thing should, but I'm not going to complain), & I'm just kinda annoyed that I can't even apply until I get my offical transcript. I'd think they'd let you apply & have some type of grace period to send that info in since it can be several weeks after graduation before my degree is made offical.

And those words are just fucked. I'm not good with words anyway & any that look made up I don't know at all & can't even take an educated guess at it.
