i've got to say that customer service leaves much to be desired these days. no one seems to take pride in what they do anymore and rarely do they even take ownership of their tasks. they just seem to phone it home as they glance at you with the disdain usually reserved for toilet plunging ( Read more... )

What IS your type anyway? you never really said! :)

Also, I must admit that I'd find it very hard to see myself going out with a doctor...so maybe it's not always that you're interesting to girls cuz you are one but also it may put others off...but thats the same with any profession I think!

My friend H for example, she is desperate to find a guy who is good with building things..! :) (like working on their house etc..)

i like all kinds but it is on a case by case basis. i tend to prefer lighter skinned ladies. seem to get along with older ones (than me). smarts counts for a lot and so does a sense of humor. i don't know. sometimes being a doctor helps, but i think it mostly hurts. bleh

I think it's good to think about that you're not what you do. If that makes any sense to you? You work as a doctor but that is not who you are, you're so much more!

I am sure that if I fell for someone, I would not give a damn about their profession! Hell, I even had a crush on our wood-work teacher in my school and I have a huge wood-work phobia!! hahaha :)

Just keep being who are you, and you'll find someone who think you're perfect and lovely and sexy and all that stuff.

(not that you asked for any advice, and certainly not from me who never have any partners, but still..it's so much fun giving advice!!)

My man's 16 year old daughter works a summer job serving ice cream to people. You think - ice cream ! Yay ! I'm happy because I'm getting ice cream ! Look at me being all nice and happy because I'm getting delicious awesome ice cream ! I don't have ice cream every day so this is a treat and I'm happy !

No. That doesn't happen so much.

She gets flaming douchebags ripping her a new asshole because horror of horrors ! she gave them a small when THEY CLEARLY SAID MEDIUM YOU STUPID FUCKING CUNT FROM HELL !!!

They don't pay her enough to make her smile and stroke the dick of the next guy in line.

For some reason, people seem to think that just because you're earning minimum wage and shitty tips - that you don't deserve respect and to be treated the same way you'd treat your boss.

yes, yes, yes, we all do it for the money and no one really likes their job as they pretend they ought to. and no one ever is paid enough to smile and courtsey, but i think it should be something of self-pride and adhering to self-standards as to how people are treated. i deal with those same douchebags all the time. me. but i keep plugging along and smile anyways.
