Its really bizaare isnt it. Ive been trying to think what I could do, what i would do if I saw Holly. Knowing what to say is extremely hard, I've never really lost someone close so its so difficult to imagine what you could say. Maybe going to the funeral might help. I got an email from the greens office saying it is likely to be held on Thursday in Christchurch and then Friday in Wellington. It might help you come to grips with it, and then it would probably also mean a lot to the family to see how much support they have and people that Rod Donald affected. It certainly gives one perspective when things like this happen. You realise we are so fragile, and it makes you want to take notice of whats really important in life. Its nice to see someone else has realised that.
Shit. That´s full on. I never knew him personally but he would always come into the Rialto and do the Greens movie nights so I got to talk to him then. He seemed like a really nice guy.
