1. GUYS. IT'S, LIKE, SO CLOSE TO CHRISTMAS. And it hasn't really FELT Christmassy for me yet, this year... not so far, anyway. Not that I'm religious or really participate in gift-buying and card-giving or anything of that sort (I am SUCH a Scrooge), but well. She was so frickin awesome!! She sang my favourite Christmas song and my favourite old chistmas song from before I knew the awesomeness of the 12 days one, and one of my favourite theatre songs ever and she made the children love her and she did it all 20 min from my house!!!

IT DOES NOT FEEL LIKE CHRISTMAS AT ALL.

My shopping is nearly done. Next weekend, I have to buy a gift for my boyfriend, and then my bus tickets to NYC because HAI. WE NEED TO GET THERE.

I'm still sick though. I feel fine; I'm just congested. :(

INORITE. It really wasn't feeling like ANYTHING until I got a bunch of new Julia Christmas songs, and suddenly I feel SO Christmassy. I'm so predictable.

I'm glad shopping's done though!

Thanks for posting these Meryl videos.
Poor woman really does seem as if she needs to go home for a long rest.
I love that last one, the look on her face as she's pushing her daughter out of the way is so funny.

And yes - the poor thing was SO ILL. And yet, still remarkably funny. Sigh. Why can't I be that funny and sexy when I'M sick?

Poor Louisa - my favourite was how Louisa was cracking up too. ADORABLE.

Thank you for posting the Meryl videos, I didn't even know she was on Letterman. I'm a bad fan. But that interview was fun, although she really should have stayed in bed, poor woman. Gah, so much love for her.

Awww, you're NOT a bad fan! Besides, you'll always have me to stalk Meryl on your behalf and keep you well updated of anything exciting that happens. XD

She really was ill, wasn't she? Poor thing. It was filmed quite a while ago though, and only broadcast considerably later. So I think she's better now!

There is NO ARGUMENT FROM ME ABOUT THIS. You've heard Winter Wonderland, right? I thought my brain had gone all explodey with these songs. I've changed my mind. That was the most cracktastically awesome reimagining of that song EVER. EVER.

I can't believe I've neglected Brian! *cries* That's what comes of listening to all of his Christmas songs year-round, bah.
