1. I'm supposed to be in bed - WAS supposed to be in bed - but have kept hanging around online for some reason unbeknownst to me.

2. Awww, RENT. Farewell posts have started to pop up all over my flist, and so I figured I might as well join in. It IS sad and the end of an era, isn't it? Whatever you might say about the show getting tired, and it ( Read more... )

2. Oh it has a special place in my heart, but its time really has come. Still, as much as I love it, reports of hysterical crying by a) people who won lotto and b) people who lost lotto are already surfacing. I'm gonna take a pass on going to see the insanity. Yes, it's got great music. Yes, it's got a great message. But it is a SHOW. (And this from someone who has been known to get attached to shows. I get that there comes a time for them to end.) Ah well. There's now word from someone who was filming interviews this morning that the final performance WILL be released on DVD probably in the new year. So it can be relived again and again. :)
6. That is gonna be me on Tuesday. And Wednesday. But for Alice it will be worth it!!!!! :)

2. Oh I know what you mean, I think. I find it immeasurably sad that it's closing on Broadway and in NYC, in a city that the story and characters are so tied to. But I DO get what you mean that Rent was starting to show its age and some wear and tear, you know? I'm glad they're releasing the final show on DVD though! Now if only they'd managed to film the OBC professionally, darn it. ;)

6. EEEK SO MUCH ALICE. It's awesome!! \o/

7. Grobanites are made of fail. Hello, the woman took care to TURN HIS FACE TOWARD YOU when she was belting at him. Presumably, he did not want to look at his fans for a reason, he was watching Julia BELT. Sigh. Whatever. FANS OF FAIL. ;)

I don't know - it's closed now so you should go check out the Rent tour dates and see if it's anywhere near NYC or DC in the last couple of weeks of January?

WTF, FAILY GROBANITES.

Are those chocolate covered malt balls? I'm not a huge fan of dark chocolate, but i love malt.

I'm sad I never got to see RENT in the Nederlander. :(

GOD INORITE. SHE WAS THE ORIGINAL FLORENCE VASSEY, KTHX. Idina watched her on Youtube and thought, let's try that, and then... didn't.

I love Dee though, you know this. :D

They are dark chocolate covered malt balls, yes. Evil unhealthiness but sex.

:( We're going to see MANY shows on Broadway in January though. LIKE WICKED AT THE GERSHWIN. \o/

2. RENT ended *cries*. And I never saw it. Pathetically, it's probably one of the few things I've listened to the whole way through and understand... Wow, I sound really out of it.

5. OMG they're gorgeous. Of course. Damn, I still need to work on animation. Photoshop is not looking so good now that I actually need to do work wiht it.

2. Isn't it just MISERABLE, that it ended? I'm getting a little more emotional about it at the thought that it's DONE, for now, on Broadway. *sniffs*

5. THANK YOU. ♥ And keep working at it, you'll crack it eventually. :D
