Rambling on the Gemma Doyle trilogy

1. POOL OF FAIL. I somehow managed to finish all my work at a perfectly respectable hour of 6.30 in the evening, and drove down to the pool all ready to, you know, actually EXERCISE again. I didn't, unfortunately, as I was informed that there was some kind of 'chemical imbalance' that meant the pool was under maintenance. BAH

I am THE only person in the ENTIRE WORLD who didn't see that coming. I almost cried because I loved her and didn't expect it in a million years! *naive* Seriously, I was all "OHHH MY GOD WHAT WHAT WHAT... wait, should I have picked that up somehow earlier?" and then Sally told me she knew all along and so did like 4 other people. *shamed*

Gemma and Kartik are pretty retarded a lot of the time. :P

(Lana, I'm totally understanding why she's one of your interests now, lol)

Wait for book 3, my friend. Wait for book 3. :D

Oh goodness, I LOVED Miss Moore as well! I was so enamoured of her in Book 1, and I was so excited when I read the author's interview at the back and she was, like, YES SHE WILL BE IN BOOK TWO, LOTS OF IT. It was when the anagram idea was dropped in that I twigged though, and then I spent the rest of the book a little sad that Miss Moore was SRT. BUT. I still love how the book was intriguing and so exciting DESPITE the twist being obvious to me, and that there was some interesting stuff going on during the confrontation scene in the Temple between Miss Moore and Gemma.

And no shame! I'm usually AWFUL at picking up on twists and stuff (explains why I'm so easily entertained, really).

LMAO. Gemma and Kartik are a bit annoying, they are. I kind of love Felicity/Pippa though. It's SO obvious between them that I can't even really call it subtext anymore. (Maybe Felicity/Gemma more so, in terms of subtext.) SO CANON.

CANNOT WAIT TO START READING BOOK 3. XD
