1. I am back. Sad sad sad. But indubitably back back back. And yes, back to work in less than six hours. How is it that I am already back to my sleeping habits of fail from pre-trip? I mean, seriously - I slept more than I have in ages on the trip. Probably got 6-7 hours a night on average, if not more, which is GOOD for me. And now here I am, ( Read more... )

Thank you - I'd say it's good to be back, but that would just be a plain old lie. ;)

I'd very much like to be a travelling flailer for life. Either that or find a way to be appointed Julia or Idina's personal assistant. Except I suspect I'm UNDER-qualified to get people coffee. I fail rather a lot at these, you know, little essential RL things. ;)

More of both shall certainly ensue soonest.

There's something about the siren call of the internet, man. I was WIPED on my way home. And now I'm just WIDE AWAKE again. ;)

Thank you! I really did have a fantastic time - readjusting back to home life is just... going to take a while, I think. ;)

I missed POSTING, bb! Although I'd still give up LJ for a bit if I could live in NYC a little longer, methinks. ;)

:) yay for no jet-lag! although i think you might actually be enough time zones away that your sense of time is just totally fucked...

glad you had fun, and wheee! for dc (possibly), and you should totally get back into the swing of things by writing house/cuddy--in the style of the annual performance review fic, which was made of stars and moonbeams.

LOL, it COULD be that - I think it's just the internet that keeps me up irregular hours and messes with everything. I was wiped on my way home today but now that I'm settled in front of the computer again, I'm WIDE awake. CRAZY!

Definitely DC in January if the musical I want to see is playing then. As of now it is, but things could change in six months! ;)

As for writing House/Cuddy fic - man, I DO need to get back into that, don't I? I haven't even had time to finish off the last installment of my five-part series. FAIL. Did you read the last couple chapters of that, btw? I don't know if I posted them during your unofficial hiatus.

haha, yeah. When I went to California last week, I was getting up at 7 and going to bed at 11...totally normal...but NOT actually an adjustment to Pacific time, since I normally get up around 10 and go to bed around 2...

Yay! I have much more freedom to go wherever the hell I want in DC than to go to New York. So I'm hoping this play is playing.

My unofficial hiatus, lol. Good way of putting it. (I blame the writers' strike for turning me off television in general--and teaching me that I can totally and completely live without it. If I'm any indication, both sides lose.) I'm not sure. I'll look for all the tagged posts. I'm sure it's awesome.

DC for sure and I will let you know if it happens, yes? :D

Writers' strike put me off tv myself, which explains the long fic hiatus and the time and brain space it allowed me to go get all flaily over Broadway. Sigh. I have such a one-track fandom mind! :P

Good luck hunting down the fics amongst all the Julia Murney flail. *ahem* ;)
