"just the bare necessities of life"

1. EIGHT. DAYS. TO. GO. How can this flail be contained! And I've discovered that the prospect of this trip is doing wonders for my ability to just be all Teflon-like and allow shitty working hours and other random annoying things to slide off my back more easily than they otherwise would. I CAN'T WAIT ( Read more... )

2. ♥ That makes me so sad. My aunt who was also my godmother (no, we're not religious either) passed away from cancer more than 10 years ago. I just... I'm so glad to hear she's fighting it every step of the way. I just... yeah. ♥ ♥ ♥ I truly wish her ALL the best, and I hope that she beats the odds and pulls through this.

2. Thank you, hon - my godmother's spirit is really amazing. I think they've detected... four? three or four different cancers by now, so imagine doing chemo three or four times and to keep hoping you'll be given the all-clear. It's pretty sobering. She's amazing though, REALLY amazing.

Yeah, that's what amazed me so much with my aunt. She NEVER gave up. It moved along so quickly with her, though, she never really had a chance. But seeing as how your godmother has been able to fight this for quite some time, maybe there is hope there. I really hope so.

It's been years for my godmother, and it's the kind of thing that would either break you or give you faith, you know? She's found her own religion and solace because of this and the way she's been able to fight it for so long, so that, at least, is good.

I'm too distracted by the orangey characters to play the music. Rather countereffective, no? :-p

-hugs- Good wishes to your godmother. I hope she'll be on the mend soon.

I say, go for it! Find something that you want to do - how will you know otherwise?

Dude. The orangey characters are cute. And kind of match my colour scheme. ;) Don't be distracted, play the music! You'll like it, I PROMISE. :D

Thank you - I hope she improves too.

Hmmm. Easier said than done. But something to think about, definitely...

You're right! Love the first two songs especially!

True, because practicalities get in the way. Hopefully you're in a position when you can try things out. What's something you'd want to do if you could?

Yay, really glad you like the songs! :D

Sigh practicalities. Man - if I could do what I'd LOVE, with common sense out of the way, I'd probably be a writer or a film critic. If my actual ABILITIES weren't an issue, I'd be a singer! ;)

What about you?

DUDE. DUUUUUUUUDE. SO EXCITED FOR YOUR TRIP. EVEN THOUGH, YOU KNOW, I'M ONLY FLAILING VICARIOUSLY!

Sending good karma to your godmother. I hope she feels better.

b) were Julia's high notes SO AWESOME in previews that they told her to stop being so kickass and distracting the audience with her awesome? Hmmm. Something to ponder.
JULIA'S AWESOME PWNS EVERYONE ELSE'S. TRUEFACTS.

dude. how hard do I fail for missing that the first time? FAIL FAIL FAIL

YOU SHALL LIVE VICARIOUSLY. I SHALL POP ONLINE AND FLAIL AT INTERVALS THAT ARE AS REGULAR AS I CAN MAKE THEM. OMFGJM, ONE WEEK TO GO.

Thanks, hon. I hope my godma feels better too.

dude. how hard do I fail for missing that the first time? FAIL FAIL FAIL

HARDER THAN I CAN SAY. But guess what! I HEAR THE AWESOME NOTES. (Exhaust-ing in Do You Want My Life?) BUT YOU CAN DISCERN THE LYRICS BECAUSE I AM OTHERWISE DEAF. *cries* I think it works out, don't you? ;)

6. I just can't make myself go back to see it. This past August with Adam and Anthony was my last. Even with Merle in as Joanne. I adore her Joanne. :(

Oh...and I'm sorry... You have all of Tell Me On A Sunday?????? Ahem. *bats eyelashes*

6. I'll have to go see Rent just to say I've seen the original run in NYC. Though obviously with Adam and Anthony it'd have been INCREDIBLE.

And yes indeed I do! :D In your inbox soonest.

So sorry to hear about your godmother, hon. *hugs you*

But yeah, I know what you mean at #3. Absolutely.
What kind of job would you do, if you could choose anything, no limits?

Thank you so much, hon. *hugs back*

If I could do ANYTHING? Well, within my actual capabilities and interests, I'd say a writer or a film critic. If I could do anything, and be really awesome at it, maybe a singer, LOL.
