"some peppy melody about rainbows blending"

1. I think I broke the one site I found online with lyrics to Sing Happy. Apparently I've been visiting it so often that it decided to just die on me. RANDOM.

2. I'm in a ridiculously spammy mood. To wit, have some Idina goodness:

God knows she's had to sing enough dodgy versions of Defying Gravity to last her a lifetime (one word: techno), so it's ( Read more... )

I make album art for my iPod, too. Or I just snag the promo pics/publicity shots from various House sites and sync them with songs and albums that I think fit the mood of the picture. I PUT WAY TOO MUCH THOUGHT INTO IT.

BUT. BUT BUT. This is the beginning of the end, isn't it. I can just tell that I'm going to move beyond artists and albums - which are easy enough to do on a mass scale - to creating art for individual songs. And then where will my sanity be? Not that I had much of it to begin with, bah.

I LIKE THAT YOU DO THE SAME THING, HOWEVER. YOUR IPOD MUST BE VERY GORGEOUS INDEED.

There is a techno version of DG out there? Oy. I did not need to know that.

There IS. It was horrible - no tune, no instruments, just a trance beat. Poor Idina was singing along to goodness knows WHAT beat and I would have cried, except it was like a train wreck. Just had to keep watching to see how it would end (answer = not well).

I'm too lazy to make album art. I just don't care. I don't know how to unmake it though, I downloaded some song and the art included a VERY graphic picture and I got so sick of looking at it I deleted the song. :P

I think the trick would have been never to get started. Now that I have, I'm completely and totally buggered. And I know this. I'll move from Julia to Idina and then to every bootleg I have. Along the way sacrificing sleep and sanity... not that I'm not ALREADY doing that.

Oh dear @ the graphic picture. That is all kinds of wrong, somehow. What song was this?!? ;)

BTW! I hate to be a stalker. But! Kerry @ Barnes & Noble?? :)

I don't remember. It was some pop song I got off limewire and I never even noticed the picture until one day there was a giant penis on my iPod on the subway and I was like O HAI *hiding screen frantically*.

Oh shit! I forgot. Sorry! Here it is.

Oh god, giant penis on iPod. So not a good thing to be popping up (errr, bad choice of words?) in public...

No worries! I thought you were prepping it to release as a master or something, but I just thought I'd stalk you for it anyway. ;)

1. Why not just copy the lyrics and paste them into a word document?

7. no, no. It's Brian and Kecia Lewis-Evans. At least they're doing different roles. Sutton hasn't done a totally different role in a long while...they're variations on a theme. I'll be seeing it in spite of her. Maybe when I know she's out. LOL.
(But dude...have you seen the mustache???? I gues she had to grow it for Port Authority, but EWWW.)

1. LOL. That would have made a lot of sense? And apparently I'm not much of a sensible person. I guess I just assumed it'd be up there forever. Sigh. ;)

7. Eh? Brian and Kecia? Isn't Sutton still involved as Princess Fiona? I've only ever seen Sutton in The Drowsy Chaperone, and I LOVED that show anyway. ;)
And oh god, thanks for reminding me about the moustache. I won't marry him with that, actually. It's SO dodgy-looking, heh.

1. LOL.

2. Brian d'Arcy James is Shrek. Kecia Lewis-Evans is...I believe Dragon. And yes, Sutton is Fiona...which is a variation on her YF character which was a variation on her Drowsy character which was a variation on Millie. She just annoys me. One trick pony all the way. IMHO. LOL.

2. I really just have the biggest case of the heebie-jeebies about Shrek as a musical. It just sounds like the weirdest thing to transfer to the Broadway stage. I hadn't even thought about how someone was going to play Dragon, LOL. Sutton - ha, she's been in SO many shows it's hard to keep track! Have you seen Young Frankenstein? Worth the watch? (Not that I have all THAT many times left for shows...)
