dorkage: House 4x04 Guardian Angels

Sigh, always late to the party - but better late than never, yes? Another fun episode - I'm still yearning for more angst and development of the characters I already love (House, Cuddy, maybe Wilson, maybe Chase), but I am enjoying the Survivor aspect of the show. Onward to the dorkiness:

- I really really liked this episode - aside from the whole ( Read more... )

Yay it's my favourite part of the week. *g*

I love how you manage to be all serious and comment on the main aspects of the episodes first, before letting the fangirl out to play. For me it's fangirling first and everything else as a random footnote afterwards LOL.

Cuddy smacking down Amber = GOLD. I adore the "kissing my ass" line. And her last line about how life with House will only get worse, so if you can't handle it get out now. Lord, she knws him too well!

I also love how you manage to create such an awesome and detailed pic spam from one scene. *g* LOVE LOVE LOVE House's puppy dog eyes. And Cuddy's "Bitch, please! faces. *smirk* The amount of trust she must have in House is quite astounding, she took the news that he dug up a grave with innocent med students in her stride like it was the norm! Another marker of how well she knows him - she knows if he's doing something so extreme there must be a good reason behind it. There's reason behind most of his madness, and she gets it. LOVE HER. LOVE THEM.

Again, it pleases me greatly that you enjoy the photo stories, hon. I'm getting so addicted to making them now - and it's not like I needed an excuse to stare at pretty pictures of Hugh and Lisa anyway. So I'm having tons of fun too. :)

And if I let my inner fangirl out to play FIRST, I'd never get around to ANY of the rest of the episode!!!

Cuddy definitely rocked in every possible way this episode: I really AM liking how they're playing her character this season as simply accepting of the fact that her control of House is limited, and demonstrating that that's a strength rather than a weakness on her part. Method to House's madness, of course, as you said: she gets that, he gets that she gets that, and they respect each other because of that. How much more gorgeous could a ship get?!

In sum? House needs a Cuddy to survive! In fact, everyone needs a Cuddy! <-- that should be our new motto! ;)

NEXT WEEK CAN'T COME SOON ENOUGH, GAAAAH!!! XD

Brennan NEED TO GO! I'm going to keep calling that 1-888 number to keep voting him OFF the show haha. Seriously. He's pointless.

DUDE, YOU SHOULD WRITE THE FIC! I WILL TOTALLY TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE SCHMOOPINESS THAT ENSUES (and any and all craziness thereafter :P). Cuz, um, that would be made of awesomeness and hotness and hilariousness.

And Cuddy NEEDS to smack Foreman down even more. Yes. And power struggle with House, Cuddy AND Foreman? HOT. Seriously. Next week will be amazing. I can feel it. And maybe House will inspire me to kick some seriously bio butt on my midterm the day after haha. ;)

Oh god you're right - if this were a real reality show, Brennan would be SO GONE by now. Actually, that would have been hilarious: imagine House being the first conventional TV show to also be a reality show!! I guess Heroes is going to end up being the first show that does that, instead. ;)

Ha ha, that fic is all kinds of schmoopy and cute, should it ever be written. I'd have to blame it all on you. Let's see if that fic bunny really does take over my brain after all. Because, GAH. It would be ADORABLE.

I can't wait for next week either!!! Soon SOON. Just a few more days and we'll have much House/Cuddy action, I'm hoping. :)

All kinds of good luck on your midterms!

Cuddy pretty much made this episode for me. I'd trade both Foreman and Cameron in for more Chase, though for whatever reason, Cameron was less grating this week (it is a mystery, since they were putting her in the Wilson/Cuddy role, and I can really do with less House/Cameron undertones ( ... )

You're right about Cameron being placed in the Wilson role here - I noticed that too, and I'm certain many Wilson fans were most displeased that suddenly we have Cameron being best buds with House and making these bets that Wilson usually makes. I sure hope the writers have a better idea of where they're going with House's relationships with all three of his erstwhile Ducklings, actually - how do they want to redefine it now that, inexplicably, all three of them appear to be back at PPTH, which must surely be the centre of the universe given how they all gravitated right back to it after, what? Is it wrong that I may have found Cameron's manipulation in the ep less annoying than some of Wilson's attempts? I feel slightly dirty. I'm sure a lot of H/W fans weren't too happy about Cameron taking over his role; especially when he really wasn't in the ep much at all (I forgot to mention, after Wilson's "what's with this obsession about the afterlife?" I wanted to let him know that, duh, it's the thematic arc of the moment!). It seemed like a stretch, for Cameron to be hanging out in House's office. Sure, she referred the case to him, but even so. Chase's lack of game-playing thus far DOES speak to his confidence and maturity, both of which he had in spades (compared to Cam and Foreman) by the time he was fired ( ... )

Ha ha, no need to feel dirty about the Cam-confession - I actually agree with you. This form of manipulation is nothing compared to some of the tricks Wilson has pulled, IMHO. I'm still wondering where the Cam-is-best-buds-with-House thing came about, but the bet worked insofar as it made House ruder with Cole than even House would normally be, I think. He really WAS trying to get a reaction this time, and proved it by being genuinely quite insufferable. As Cuddy pointed out so insightfully in FJ, House is holding back, most of the time. He could be one heckuva lot meaner if he put his mind to it ( ... )
