Cate's awesome. Even her name's WIN. (Yes, I was happy with the naming in the last episode too. :-p)

I'm feeling Cuddy withdrawal too. :( New House tomorrow, there's still hope!

Man, if you make it to Anaheim all the way from Singapore, there's really no excuse for me, is there? lol

And there's definitely no excuse for you if I can haul my butt down to Anaheim. ;) Although there are all these conflicting reports about two House cons now, wtf. IDEK. :(

I just meant to say that Cate is basically a metaphor for Cuddy - because she's so similar in being kickass, understanding House and how to get him to do the stuff she wants, and also not willing to take meds that other people might need more: she's just like Cuddy, and that's why House is into her! Hope that made it clearer. ;)

Can't wait for tomorrow's ep either!! *flail*

I am so much of a one ship girl that House/anyone who is not Cuddy is something I cannot stand. So I'm glad this episode is over. I love you Mira, but please to be never appearing again thanks LOL. However the xtended Cuddy metaphor thing is made of win, because it was totally describing her. Catch a clue House!

Well apparently the primary charity is the Best Friends Animal Society, and we all know who is a big supporter of that. *nods* So I'd say there was a chance. :D

Oh I'm definitely still firmly in the House/Cuddy camp, OBVIOUSLY - but I really did like the way the episode was written and Cate's interactions with House. I don't want her around long-term, but if they were gonna force me to watch House be with someone on the show who isn't Cuddy (WHY?!), it'd be her and not 13 or Cam.

THIS CONVENTION THING IS SO CONFUSING. But if Lisa goes, I really AM SO THERE.

Personally, even though I like Cuddy, I like new characters. Mira Sorvino annoyed me at the beginning, but I'd be happy to see her join the cast. I don't think that every woman has to be considered a love interest for House, and I'd like to see some peripheral characters, like Marco the pharmacist or Nurse Brenda, who are actually good at their jobs. It helps me to buy the hospital as a hospital and not just a playing ground for House and his friends. And I love the new fellows! The moment when Thirteen finally snapped and we realized he was just waiting for them to stand up to him, the way that his old fellows did, was full of funness ( ... )

Spot-on as usual - although I don't think I'd want Cate back in the mix too. There are already too many new characters running around jostling for screentime with the old (especially when it's not at all clear what the old characters are doing back in the mix - I remain SO ANNOYED by this). Adding her in and invariably making her all sexy for House, because ALL the girls on the show must LURVE him, would turn House into Grey's Anatomy. And THAT I could not take ( ... )

I saw it! And I loved it. I was really looking forward to it and wasn't disappointed, yay. Fantastic episode. And I agree with you on Cate, she was awesome and her scenes with House were so, so good. And... I can't come up with anything smart to say right now, need to sleep. But yeah, lots of love for this episode.

Yay, so glad that you enjoyed it too. I really thought it was one of the best-written episodes of the show so far - loved all the insight we got into House, and Cate was just FUN. Way better than I'd expected. Now I can't wait for new episode tomorrow!! *flails*
