I can't quite stop myself watching Hot in Cleveland, mostly because I am so amused that Jane Leeves can't use her actual accent anymore.

Castle is the adorbsiest, I'm totally digging that show and so happy to have it back.

House/Cuddy squee goes without saying :D

GLEE KEEPS DRAGGING ME BACK WITH THESE GUEST-STARS, GODDAMMIT. I WILL WATCH FOR CHEYENNE. ALSO BRITNEY EPISODE.

I don't know what it is about Hot In Cleveland and its menopausal humour but I love it anyway. And wait - she can't use her actual accent?! She sounds to me more or less like she did on Frasier but I guess I don't have an ear for regional differences in British accents.

Still wanting to marry Nathan Fillion. Or Castle. It's a problem.

House/Cuddy squee is neeeever leaving this LJ again!!!!

I think it's that she does sound close to her Frasier accent, which... isn't really an accent, more of a caricature. Probably cause she was playing Manchester while being from London. And now she just sounds like she's from... I don't know where. It amuses me greatly.

This is my thing with Glee - all about the guest stars. I end up ignoring all the regulars who aren't Brittany and Santana :)

I do remember reading that somewhere - that Daphne was supposed to be from Manchester, although by most informed accounts Jane really didn't sound all that Mancunian at all. Poor thing who hasn't used her real accent in something like 17 years!! She probably just talks like that now - she used the same unidentifiable accent when she guest-starred on Desperate Housewives too, I think.

Guest-stars will keep me going through the poor plotting and character development of Glee. Brittany was so hilarious in the premiere - "stop the violence!" Looking forward to seeing her break out with Britney next week!!

I missed the finale of House (I have NO idea how and didn't realise I did until I saw the premier and was all what what what) but I'm loving how they're dealing with the House/Cuddy so far. It all seems thoroughly in character while also being totally squee-worthy :D

WELL, HELLO THERE, NEW FRIEND!! I'm glad you like House because I'm going to be really obnoxious when it comes to posting ALL ABOUT IT over the coming season. XD I hope you've had a chance or are going to seek out the finale soon... because quite apart from the fact that it made me ridiculously happy, it really was an excellent hour of television.

It all seems thoroughly in character while also being totally squee-worthy :D

It's one of the few shows that Australia gets quickly (well, until the channel starts being STUPID with it) so that's completely fine because I'll be up to date with what you're talking about :D

I love me some House/Cuddy. I also love me some naked Lisa Edelstein, so I think the premier was pretty much a win/win situation! ;)

I approve of Australia getting it quickly - I don't think I've ever watched House on proper tv, it just doesn't make sense for me. Glad you'll be up to date with my flail. :D

House/Cuddy are clearly my favourite - and much as I spend most of the episodes lusting after Hugh Laurie, I think my LJ will make very clear that lots of naked Lisa Edelstein is totally fine by me too. XD

I don't know much about the leaking or fake script, but if the House people dump these cuteness in somehere, I hope at least they give a copy or two for Hugh or Lisa. It's a pity we won't see these beach scenes on TV. >

It's a real bummer about the fake script and shoots. I think that's a real huge WASTE OF MONEY. And so ridiculous to boot. I do hope the scenes crop up at some point... not just for Hugh and Lisa, but on our DVD box sets or something. ;)
