1. I think people need to write a thesis about the phenomenon of peanut mist. So I've been eating peanuts for the last hour or so - when I cracked the first one open, it kind of sent up a little POOF of mist. What was that?! And don't tell me dirt. Because I've already eaten it. :P

My love for Grease knows no bounds - in fact, it is so boundless that it even includes a deep love for Grease 2. *ashamed* Except not really, I'm happy to like it as a guilty-pleasure movie. ;) Rizzo was DEFINITELY my favourite character. I love how Stockard played her - brassy and independent but also just sad and vulnerable inside. Such a REAL human being. I LOVE THAT SONG.

7. I've almost finished the book of Marley and Me and really enjoyed it. Parts of it are absolutely hilarious to the point I gave myself stomach ache from laughing so hard so it'll be a shame if the film doesn't turn out to be any good.

Great list! But I already knew you had good taste in actresses. I was just talking about Toni Collette with someone from my flist the other day. How she's such an amazing actress, and seems so normal, too, so down to earth. I really like her a lot. Even when she only does a small role (like for example in "The Sixth Sense"), she does such a great job bringing that character to life. And I really liked "In Her Shoes", too. I have this thing for Cameron Diaz... I know she's not the greatest actress out there, but I just can't help myself but love her. Yeah.

And I agree about Felicity. I mean, I LOVE Reese Witherspoon, and I think she was fantastic in "Walk the Line", but Felicity was just... beyond amazing in "Transamerica". I don't watch DH (anymore), and I think she should do more movies.

And you know how much I love Meryl, so WORD to all of what you said about her. And the others.

I'm so glad we concur. XD Of course I have awesome taste in actresses! ;) Honestly I'd have included Gillian - especially film-wise I CAN put House Of Mirth up there as one of my favourite films and just a revelatory performance in general, but to be honest, it was tv for her, and nothing else. XF

7. Marley and Me is an amazing book. I own it and it's so unbelievably touching. So I guess I liked the movie because of my relationship with the book. And of course, the PUPPIES omg. I died and went to heaven! I do think Owen Wilson was an awful choice, though. :)

7. Oh I've not read it - maybe that's why I don't have quite the same attachment to the movie. Don't get me wrong, I cried and everything because the ending was SO sad, but I didn't think the movie OVERALL was fantastic. Jennifer Aniston was pretty good though. And puppies were cute! XD

7. Oh do yourself a favor and read the book. It's amazing! His style of writing is so enjoyable to read. And re: the crying...I sobbed. It was bad. All my makeup was running down my face. True story.

There IS. Omg when I went on my Dec 06-Jan 07 trip I saw Little Miss Sunshine on the flight to London and was all whoa, Julia Murney lookalike! And then I saw the film again on the way home AFTER seeing Julia as Elphaba and it caught me off guard AGAIN.
