Being back at work after the last two weeks sucks, I know. But we're almost at the weekend. And any day where the good equals the bad classifies as a good day I think!

Have you seen Doubt yet? I don't know if I missed your review/flail :) I liked to movie but a bit different feel compared to the play

I haven't seen it yet! It's part of my huge weekend catch-up tomorrow, for certain. So I'll probably flail talk about it tomorrow. I've heard the movie's VERY different from the play - the acting choices, for certain. Meryl plays her differently than Cherry Jones, as I understand it.

OKAY. You've already found videos, but her WHOLE album is amazing. It's called The Lunch Shift, and is really folk-rock, quite a bit of country, and occasional jazz, and her voice is just... *weeps* Her brother and his friend wrote most of the songs, and there's one all about Veronica Lake calling Veronica's Working The Lunch Shift. Go here and listen to the snippets. Especially She Always Thought Of Him, because OMG, smoky piano jazz and it KILLS ME.

I'm sorry for getting SO EXCITED but I LOVE her CD and her voice SO MUCH. XD
