Too much.Rube Goldberg machines remind me ( Read more... )

That is a thing of beauty and wonder - although the chess pieces make me a little sad. Still - amazing work must have gone into that.

The chess play was a bittersweet touch, but the segue to the egg was so lovely.

Absolutely beautiful! Honestly, I'm gonna be watching this every time I have a bad day from here on in - Rube Goldberg machines always... get to me. I watched the X-Files episode that featured one far too many times for my own well-being.

Wow... awesome! I had to do one in eighth grade and it wasn't nearly that complex and worked about 5 percent of the time. ;)

Your school had you do Rube Goldberg machines? I'd send my kids there!

I'm running behind, btw; another fic took longer than expected. Haven't forgotten about you. :)

Yeah! My eighth grade science teacher ran class like we were in the Marines, though, and told us beforehand that if it didn't work he'd fail us. So I spent most of the spring having minor anxiety attacks. ;) But thank goodness-- once exhibit day came around, both science teachers had a heart and were unbelievably patient-- ours didn't work right away but it all worked out okay in the end. ;) I think I got an A or B on the project. The teacher was scary but had a heart of gold, that one...

Hey, don't worry about it; better to be good than rushed, is what I say. ;)
