Oh, this is really good, loved it!

About the last part: so the Master tells Theta to remember him as 'the Doctor', which is the name Theta will choose later as his pseudonym...I don't think I want to psychoanalyse that...

aha. love this very much. very funny. you've written a lovely, superior master (OR IS IT?), still balanced against the tragicness of this exchange: "I recently met a boy called Koschei-" // "Sounds ideal. See more of him."

this is a great remix-idea, too. i don't think i've ever seen it before, but it really worked. thanks for cross-posted to b_e. i don't think i would have seen it otherwise :)

Ditto aralias on thanks for posting to b_e, because I too would have missed it, and it's lovely. Perfectly paced, great dialogue, self-aware and witty.

Thank you very much! If there's a fandom in-joke to be made, I probably can't resist making it, so I'm glad it at least worked. :)

Theta looked, then looked again. "Is that from Earth? That's my favorite planet," he blurted.

The therapist made a fairly indescribable face. "I know."

It may be indescribable, but I know exactly what it looks like :D This is brilliantly funny. And I love this Theta, wanker that he is.
