And I don't trust RTD not to fuck everything up royally at the very end, like he always does. I was thinking Lois was going to be Tosh, but now that you said Ianto, I'm scared. The internet will fall down. Janto fans will kill themselves. I don't care about Jack/Ianto, particularly, but I care enormously about IANTO.

2. Well, he's gotta go sometime, though I'd rather he didn't before the show ends. Like you, I'm just worried about it sucking. RTD so often does an awesome wind-up followed through by... er.. well, exhibit A, Journey's End. Or Last of the Time Lords. Etc.

I like Jack/Ianto v. much; it's exactly the sort of fucked up weirdness that floats my boat. But Ianto is definitely my fave. He conned Jack, conned him like a pro, and we've yet to see any sign that he regrets it. I am fond of the boy.

I have not seen either episode because I HAVE NO TIME, WOE, but I am weak and read you reaction post and if Ianto dies, I will do the melodramatic fan thing and write a really, really long post as to why I am done with this fandom. Or, I'm very lying, but it's like they're ticking off all of my favorites, in order: Owen, Tosh, and Ianto. Sheesh!
