Happy Seki Sunday!

Why is today Seki Sunday, you ask?

So a long time ago (umm...2004), the Bandit and her friends, V1, K, and C all went to Anime Expo to see the great Tomokazu Seki.  K decides to tease V1 and the EB and constantly points in random directions, shouting "Look!  It's Tomokazu Seki!).  Then we'd hit him.  Jokes on him cuz we made him dress up in Ken from WK cosplay.  He got fangirls because of us.  He should be grateful.  Then one evening he pointed out our hotel window and shouted, "Look, guys, It's Tomokazu Seki!"  And I still fell for it, but there really was a Tomokazu Seki, and the Special Guests VIP gathering, eating dinner and surrounded by cosplaying fangirls with his bright orange hair standing out above the crowd.

"It is Tomokazu Seki!"  I scream, and K and I start waving madly.  Seki waves back for a second, and then V1 comes over to join us and also starts waving madly.  We proceed to spend the next hour watching Seki have dinner and sign autographs, occasionally waving like idiots.  K and C observe us and take pictures, which I will not post here for V1's sake.

So the con continues and V1 and I eventually get to attend Seki's panel and score a bunch of autographs.  We collapse in bed that Sunday night a bundle of fangirl gelatin.  "Ah, what a glorious day."  Outside, we here fireworks.  Lots of fireworks.

V1:  "Wow, Disneyland's going all out tonight, that's way bigger than usual."
EB:  "Yeah, they sound like they're coming from all over.  Everyone must be celebrating the glory of Seki."
V1:  "This day shall forever be known as Seki Sunday!"
EB:  "Woo hoo!"

*ten minutes later*

EB:  It's the fucking Fourth of July
V1:  Oh...

Only my country's national holiday.  This is the first 4th of July I've been in state to celebrate it in 4 years, so I'm being forced to attend a barbecue where no one will get my Seki Sunday jokes, so I'm explaining it all here to get it out of my system.

HAPPY SEKI SUNDAY EVERYONE!!!!
