Yay, new hamster

Our new hamster has just arrived. Her name is Biscuit. She is a short haired banded syrian and clearly is more comfortable in the cage than in the rotastack so we have given her a small bed in the cage as well as the spacious rotastack rooms. Also she really wants to escape. Florist wire holding the doors closed is new and frustrating.

They are all escapologists. Any hamster that looks content is just biding its time and plotting.

She was named by the little boy who owned her. I think I would have called her Cinnamon.
