Loved this update. Jordan being nervous and excited before the big date was very cute and endearing.
A totally wimpy, hesitant knock, but a knock nonetheless. - Even your knocks are in character!
“Look, I’m about to talk about feelings, and having food directly in front of me when I do that tends to aggravate the nausea. So just sit there and be quiet for a minute.” - Oh Jordan, how I love thee. This is perfectly in character with Later!Jordan.
“As hard as this is for me to say, tonight has been... not so bad. Perry doesn’t like most of my friends, so I don’t always get to spend time with people I…like. It’s …” she paused, looking very much like someone trying to hold back vomit, “…nice.” - Brilliant! I love the pauses as she works up to saying the complimentary words.
“You’ve got a deal to hold up.”
*rubs hands together with anticipatory glee*
