2010 South Bank Show Awards

The 14th annual (and final) South Bank Show Awards were held during a lunchtime ceremony at the Dorchester Hotel on Tuesday, January 26, 2010. The Donmar Warehouse production of A Streetcar Named Desire won the Theatre Award. The play beat out Jez Butterworth and Alan Bennett’s new plays Jerusalem and The Habit of Art.

Sadly, I won't be able to watch. :( If you can, do report back and let us know how the awards show is! It seems a rather short ceremony (according to ITV, it runs 1:25). But I guess I'm just used to our American awards shows that go on for three hours. =P
