You portray the atmosphere of this story very well, and I can definitely see it play out in my mind. I like this.

Ah, I like this. These two are at their best when so much is left unsaid.

Thank you! I wasn't even sure how to classify this, because for so long the two of them were so undefinable.

"You don't need it anymore?" Was there hope that this too would pass for her?

"Why do you think we're here, now?" He tipped back his drink, neatly, quietly placing the glass in a row with the others. Understanding, she nodded and went to fetch the next round.

How subtly Peter emphasizes with her right here, letting her now she's not alone, and being supportive and seeking support. Such a nice balance you've written here and why, even when things are messed up between them personally, they still make really good partners. Really enjoyed this.

Thank you! Their relationship has always been so subtle, neither of them being "I feel you pain**hugs**" kind of people, but always obviously registering things rather profoundly.

There is this subtle sharpness to your writing, like running your fingers along the edge of a knife or something...it doesn't cut but it makes an impression regardless. I don't know if that analogy made any sense but it just came to me as the way to describe it so I'm sharing it here ( ... )

Thank you, for reading and for leaving such wonderful feedback!

Since the season ended, I've been going back and rewatching a lot of the older eps, and not quite in order, so a lot of that's been rattling around in my head. I'm glad it worked here!
