It was great! I though you were a seasoned Fringe fic writer. Don't worry, I'm also pretty new to the fandom :)

Thanks :) I've been around the block a time or three with writing, but just hadn't gotten in to writing anything for Fringe before. The last few episodes have been rather inspiring, though!

Ditto on both counts. I have about twenty fics on fanfiction.net, but only just started writing fringe.

And the last few eps have been awesome and heart-breaking

I like this! It's a small but realistic measure of vindication for Peter -- knowing what he knew, it's even more honorable that he told her. But heartbreaking!

Thank you very much. Its a horribly complicated, painful situation that the actors have done a fabulous job with.

Thanks. The phrase carried a lot of weight, which made it hard to leave alone.

I really enjoy your Peter voice in this. You can feel the bitterness and anger directed at himself, at the fact that he'd failed the bigger test. I loved the lines about how he couldn't grind his teeth or shout or do anything but his mind (and it's his mind -- his intelligence -- which has been out of use recently and has allowed him to be deceived) is racing.

He really did fall for the oldest con in the book. Poor guy.

Thanks for sharing this introspective. I think it really captures what he must've been feeling and thinking in that moment.

Thank you. I was really struck by the idea of being frozen there, with just that realization banging around in his head.
