Well,I'm not so fond of short hair. I prefer her with longer haircuts or at least shoulder lenght. In that black and white pic, the one in which she's so young, she looks fantasric and her haircut now is similar to that one. However,these movies screamed "'80s!!!" so loud. I'm not very fond of the style of that period, neither for hair nor for clothes. Fortunately I wasn't 20 in that period!

I agree that now are a bit tto long for her age,but she doesn't look bad. Moreover,I'm sure this new haircut has a purpose as you've guessed before.
