To the Burrow!

 Elley packed up her bag with about a dozen magazines, he favorite nail polish colors, and her manicure kit. She was so excited to finally get out of the tiny house she shared with her father. It was lonely, and a bit scary, without around. There wasn't anyone in her neighborhood that went to Hogwarts so she felt all the more alone. The Burrow

Ginny had spent the entire day cleaning up after her brothers. Not that she was specifically nervous about having Elley over to her house, but it should at least present as a clean, nice place, right? Making her brothers stay out of the kitchen long enough to keep it clean proved to be impossible though, and Ginny was in a mood.

Everyone had been in the Burrow nearly constantly since their arrival home, due to her parents' fear of the outside world. So when Elley arrived, the Burrow was in its normal state, and Ginny had given up, showering and putting on some of her nicer thrift shop purchases.

"Elley!" she shouted, grabbing her for a hug. Then she stepped back and brushed off the soot.
