It wasn't all bad

I didn't hate everything on TV this summer. In fact I liked a lot of it and this post is about things I enjoyed (the things I loved will get their own posts).

I like this season of Dominion even better than the first one. It's still cheesy in many ways but it also pretty entertaining, has good visuals, nice twists and I like this new thing of ( Read more... )

In my opinion the problem with the Billy Burke plotline is that they would want to get Kyra Sedgwick to guest star together with him (and if I recall correctly, she has a contract for 2 or 3 guest appearances?), so they have to fit both their schedules and organise an event. A winter thing would make sense, possibly the premiere?

(I'm really oddly invested in that show ;))

The new Jesus isn't as pretty :( I'm shallow.

How many women does H&CF have? Because the dudes are not much of a draw for me. Will it have enough for me to stay interested?

They still need to catch him first :)

But he is so much taller (new Jesus I mean ;)

There are two main women in H&CF out of the 5 characters total who are kind of main in the two seasons but there is many more recurring male characters than female (mostly because the coders are male). Also in first season Donna and Cameron (the two women) hardly interact - Donna is mostly wife to Gordon (but she is secretly better engineer than him), Cameron is just a coder Joe brings to the project (and his love interest) - but they get together in the end and decide to ditch the guys. And then season 2 is a reversal - now Cameron (responsible for software) and Donna (responsible for hardware) run a softwer/gaming company together and Gordon is husband of Donna and Joe is kind-of evil landlord type and it's awesome.
