The writers of OUaT are still geeking out over getting their hands on Star Wars. In many ways that was the best part of the episode (well, the 2 last episodes). [Spoilers for Once Upon a Time]Since everybody had guessed the big reveal long, long time ago (Neal = Bae and even Bae = Peter Pan which almost got confirmed too) that felt like a relief not a surprise (good thing Neal

"...and it reminded how much I like Peter Outerbridge. I almost feel bad that he keeps playing bad guys now. I miss time when he was David Sandstrom and Ellen Page was his daughter and he brought some almost realistic science to TV."
Yes! I also have this fear that they're starting to typecast him as either the creep or the Bad-Guy-In-A-Suit. His (albeit short) role on Beauty and the Beast was almost like a toned-down clone of Ari Tasarov. I really wish they'd cast him in something again where he's actually likeable. I love him in Bomb Girls, but unfortunately it's not a likeable character either. ReGenesis was fantastic, and it's still among my top 3 TV shows of all time, not only because the science was so realistic. Such a shame the fandom is all but dead.
I loved ReGenesis. It was proof that you can have scientifically sound stories that are interesting and fun. And I loved all the characters.
It seems like ever since the ReGenesis ended all he plays is the same creepy henchman guy. And it's not that he's evil it's just that he's evil in such a creepy way you don't even love to hate him you just despise those characters. That's why I'm sad that they killed Ari off just as they made him seem kind of awesome.
You also made me realise I should stop writing these so late at night as my editing sucks.
Yes, as science-themed television shows go, ReGenesis was amazingly accurate. I squeed every time I saw a real PCR machine or them using BLAST search. (Although, if you pay close attention, you'll see that they only ever spin two microtubes in the centrifuge...) Their computers also ran on Windows, and not some super fancy, super fake user interface that looked right out of a futuristic science fiction movie. Of course the overall storylines were a bit exaggerated sometimes, but, hey, it's prime time television. Though I must say, I really hated the series finale

I'm from Germany, so hello there, neighbour. Hi :). I'm actually old enough that the first time I was in Germany it was East Germany. I still have a swimming card I got on that summer camp. My most precious souvenir - irreplaceable.
I think that, at least in Poland, ReGenesis benefited from being on AXN and AXN Scifi. It made sure it was targeted to the right audience. I knew a lot of people who watched it a liked it back home. I loved the fact that the science was sound (they had website explaining how it all worked even) and that they only wore labcoats when it was necessary and that they solutions came only little faster then they would in RL
