Last episode of Nikita was great but it was so long since the first part aired most of the tension was gone as I forgot why I have to worry about the characters. I wish they stopped with the breaks every two episodes - it really kills the momentum. I think I enjoyed most shows better when I watched the downloaded episodes in batches of 3 or 4.

Well, in BSG the bodycount was amazingly bad though - not a single major female character from the pilot makes it to the end without dying (some of they are simply resurrected) while a majority of male ones do. And apart from suicide pandemic we also had two major female characters killed by positive male characters with no consequences to them - Tory killed by Galen, Ellen killed by Saul - and most queer characters are offed and often vilified (Kendra, Helena Cain, Gaeta, D'Anna).

(That's why my gf and I wrote an epic crackfic AU for BSG, where almost every character was queer. :>)

I always wondered how it was after the whole Cylon Civil War with 1s, 4s and 5s fraction. They said all cylons were bi so I assumed they just went and screw each other. Of course all we ever got was Cavil and Boomer but I wonder if that's how Cavil got 5s and 4s to join him too. (And now I grossed myself out as it reminds me too much about all that molesting priests and coaches. Brain bleach.)

I was writing this really late which is probably why I forgot about the awfulness of season 4. It might be because I avoid thinking about anything that happened in season 4 except for the fact that Agathons survived. There were things I minded before - e.g. the suicide string already started - but season 4 feels like a long string of wrong ended by pointless. I suppose that is sad that all the women dying isn't even first on my list of what was wrong with it xP

PS. I was OK with Ellen's death but Tory's was just awful. Saul lost me with the whole Caprica thing.
