Eureka's last episode of the penultimate season was on Monday. It was fun from the episode's disaster to the all the plot arcs for different characters. And the cliffhanger...

The "By the way, Birkhoff is not working with us" moment coupled with Nikita SHOOTING Alex was possibly my favourite one on tv this week. And usually Nikita wasn't that high on my list of exciting TV.

But with The Good Wife and Boardwalk Empire returning, she probably won't repeat the experience too often ;DDD

I loved that whole scene ♥ Birkoff not being able to scream about his superiority and the Micheal deadpan delivery of that line. Awesome. And large part of why I watch the show is the whole dysfunctional family/apprenticeship relationship between Alex and Nikita. And them both to Amanda (and maybe Amanda to Madeline). It's almost like multiple generations of a family of very dangerous women who love/hate each other.

I suppose it's different for me as I just completely separate genre and general TV in my mind and don't compare the two. This is weird and convoluted division with, for example, Community falling into the genre bin. Both Nikita and Fringe are in it too so this makes Fridays SF for me even though Syfy switched to Mondays as their prime scripted show day.

The Good Wife was nice but I don't have HBO and I still haven't seen the first season of Boardwalk Empire even though my father gave it to me when I was home in July. I probably should get to it as everyone I know loved it.
