He'll figure it out in the end.

Thank you for your insight. That's exactly what I was trying to get at. Lassiter may work with victims of crimes in his field, but he's a detective not a social worker. His idea of saving the day is putting all the bad guys in jail and he may not really get why someone wouldn't want to prosecute.
He'll figure it out in the end.
He sure will. =)

In short, I love it. :)

I'm glad you love the chapter! We're getting close to the actual hurt/comfort that you requested. Sorry it took so long. ;)

Also? You don't have to apologize because you're AWESOME, and if I actually knew you, and it wasn't borderline creepy, I would totally send you thank you flowers or something. So instead, I just make dolphin noises whenever I see a new chapter, and hope nobody can hear me.

Best review, evar, btw! Thank you so much. I don't really feel too bad, but I do wish I could finish stories quicker than what I do. And flowers, aren't necessary. I look forward to all your responses, cause they make me pretty happy. =D I realized belatedly I should have left you a spot but ...
And I think we can say we sort of, kind of know each other. =P I know you're a writer and, like me, are an adult/aren't a teenage fangirl. (Oh geez, now I'm the creeper.) My name's Elle. I once sincerely considered getting a master's degree in psychology so I could read fanfiction study fangirls and actually get paid for it. At the moment, I only write for two fandoms. Nobody IRL knows I do this. Yay, random facts! \o/
This comment is getting rambly. I'll end it now.
