This looks cool, but the fact that you spelled "summary" wrong is probably putting off a lot of people from even reading the first chapter.

OMG, THANK YOU! I mean, I feel like a major idiot, but thank you for pointing that out. That's one of those things where I misspelled it once, then proceeded to copy and paste the error on to EVERY POST there after. I never even noticed it because I rarely edit that part of the post that closely.

I was out of town (bombing the most important meeting of my life, but that's neither here nor there... Well, actually, it was there, but never mind.) so I didn't catch this the very second it was posted. It was a wonderful surprise to come home to.

You just nail the Shawn/Gus banter and relationship perfectly, and I absolutely loved that Lassie kept apologizing, but didn't stop acting like a jerk. I don't know, that detail really worked well.

I am so, so glad that I begged for this prompt from you, because you're doing it the kind of justice I never would have been able to. I'm so hooked, but I would be even if you weren't writing something I've wanted to see forever.

Yay! You're back. I'm glad that this turned out to be a nice surprise for you (and am sorry that your trip didn't work out for you). I'm glad you liked jerky Lassiter. I think he has some respect for Gus and Shawn at some level, but not nearly as much as he would if they were actual cops. =P

The rest of the trip was great. Just not the meeting I spent 3 solid weeks prepping for. *shrug* Alas! I'll probably live. Thank you, though. :)

I think that underlies a lot of (canon) issues with Lassie. If Shawn and Gus were cops, they'd get some measure of respect from him for being willing to think outside the box. As it is, I think the civilian/liability aspect tends to war with any respect he might have for their results.

I am content to wait for more, because this is awesome so far. Well, not CONTENT- I mean, I'd like for you to forsake your daily life and do nothing but write, but in light of that being a somewhat unreasonable expectation, we'll say "content" and move on. ;)

Awww Shawn, facing his demons. I'm glad Gus is going too. How long before Gus and/or Lassie figure out Shawn's reasons for wanting on the case? Will he have to face Stiles in person? Will Henry find out about the case and about what happened to Shawn? I see angst ahead, even with the Shawn-Gus banter.
