Yesterday was another smashingly busy day in which I crossed many things off (many boring things, like take van to the shop, and fold laundry). Because we went in very early to drop the van off, we were in town before the library or usual kid things opened, and it was too wet to go to the park. Guppy's getting big!

I am terribly curious about fooling people into eating beets. They're hard to disguise, with that color.

It was a yellow beet, which had been stored (cooked) with some red ones, so it had a very peach-like gradient. Guppy pointed to it and said 'what's that?' and before I could answer, Jake told her, "It's peaches, you love peaches!" and volunteered to eat one off her plate.

Error corrected after one bite each, I imagine. Silly people, beets are yummy!
