Mousies

I've taken over dealing with the unwilling inhabitants of the Tin Cat, which involves taking the trap several blocks away to a vacant lot with a big oak tree and some bushes (and thus ensuring that they're never, ever coming back). ...shudder...I was looking over your journal and came across the mouse post. My dog runs in terror during the winter if a mouse is in the house. You are kinder than I am!

Well... that, and I hate the thought of dealing with the messy aftermath of a snap-trap. (And glue traps are right out.) Besides, it's not their fault Mommy chose to live indoors. Though I may buy a cage & wheel, and start keeping them, if they show up again. Give the cat something to amuse herself during the day (though I can't guarantee that the mouse wouldn't drop dead of an eensy heart attack).

The cat is only now willing to enter the part of the house where the mice were hanging out. ("You're a cat, that's a mouse. Do I need to draw you a diagram?") She would SO starve if she were an outdoor cat. :)
