Hey girl, are you alright? You sound a bit cranky....are you getting enough sleep? I know my opinion may not be entirely justified because I've never heard this in person, but I have a sinking feeling that "work that up-do" is one of those phrases that some nay-sayers may say you "can't pull off". And I say nay to said nay-sayers, so say on girl!

If it helps, people say things like "you look terrible" and "yikes!" and "oh my gosh, I hate what you look like right now!" to me too...and that's when I AM wearing make up and heels.

Raising eyebrows and turning heads,

Jeice

I feel (felt?) your pain.
I too refused to rise ten minutes early just to put on make-up. But I also enjoy my heels and would frequently attempt to dress nicely when socializing (or going to the grocery store...). I was always met with a bit of shock by people that were used to seeing me only in an NPS shirt.

I say, forget the naysayers. Heels and hiking boots in your wardrobe make you much more adaptable and interesting.
