NaNoWriMo

Is anyone doing NaNo this year? I didn't even try last year... given that I've written over 143,355 words since mid-June, I'm probably going to go for it.

And if you do this, how do you find out about local NaNo events?

I wanted to do it last year but my computer flamed out. I thought of doing of this year but my fanfic captured my imagination instead. ;-)

Would you be interested in starting an alt-nanowrimo group?
